Arizona-born, but not Arizona raised, I spent 12 years of my childhood living in Chile and Australia. As a Mexican-American, I have come to enjoy and be challenged by this meld of cultures, coming out the other side observant and curious. In my personal life, I am a hobbyist both of craft and movement, currently doing cross-stitching and mountain biking a whole lot.
ABOUT ME

BACKGROUND
I am an alumni of Arizona State University, where I studied Bilingual Elementary Education and soon found myself exploring the many branches of mental health. For many years, I continued teaching while working at an equine therapy farm, where I worked with children, teens, and adults alongside my four-legged co-workers. I walked away from the farm to pursue a masters in clinical mental health through Grand Canyon University, taking with me many lessons on the mind-body connection. I have come to understand that people of all ages find themselves in the therapeutic space to be heard and listened to, and end up going on a journey of empowerment, connection, and healing.
