I have lived in Arizona for the last decade, learning to love all the desert has to offer, even in the hottest summers! Before Arizona, I resided in Illinois, where I received my bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology. I have recently graduated from Colorado Christian University with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I became interested in counseling in my adolescence as I navigated my anxiety and depression. As I came into young adulthood, I decided to leap into my counseling journey and learned that I had been struggling with ADHD and learned many different skills to strengthen my abilities and cope with stressors. My passion for counseling grew through this journey, and I wanted to help others feel empowered and advocate for themselves.
Some things to know about me are that I love my cats, Katniss, Namu, and Haku, as well as my dog, Samson! I also love working out, crocheting, anime, and spending time with my husband and family. I also have a massive board game collection and am constantly adding to it!
ABOUT ME

BACKGROUND
My undergraduate degree focused on child learning and development. I struggled throughout my primary education and wanted to find ways to help advocate for learners and different ways of achieving success in their education and work life. My prior experience includes working in autism centers, clients with serious mental illness, and crisis response. These experiences taught me how important it is to have a support system, advocacy, and connection with others to succeed. My goal is to help empower my clients and encourage them to thrive in their journey.
