In my personal life, I enjoy the company of my beloved hairless cats and cherish the time I spend with my family. My experiences have not only shaped who I am today but also strengthened my commitment to helping others heal from their own struggles.
ABOUT ME

BACKGROUND
My path to becoming a counselor was deeply shaped by my own life experiences. Growing up in a family with severe dysfunction, alcoholism, and abuse, I faced significant challenges early on. Later, family addictions, a difficult marriage, and struggles within a blended family pushed me to seek healthier ways to cope. An incredible counselor in my early years inspired me to keep going and gave me faith that survival was possible. These formative experiences ignited my passion to help others facing similar hardships.
I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University, followed by a Post-Master's Certificate in Counseling: Trauma. I also completed a Clinical Traumatologist Certificate through the Trauma Institute of Canada. I specialize in helping individuals with PTSD, trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a method that I find particularly effective in helping clients heal from deep emotional wounds. I am in the process of becoming fully certified in ART at the Basic, Advanced, and Enhanced levels.
